Rotary Ghost Walks
Enjoy intriguing tales of reported ghoulish encounters and stories of historic properties and people along Broadway. The one-mile, round trip, walks start at the Inn at Jim Thorpe, 24 Broadway. Led by a costumed storyteller with lantern, the walks, all outside, last about an hour, unless the spirits have other ideas! See schedule for walk dates and more information.
Old Jail Ghost Tours

$15/adults; children under 12 are not permitted
Every Saturday in October, stroll the dark halls of the original 1871 Old Jail and HEAR haunting tales of true, ghostly happenings while you HUNT for spirits. Enjoy spine-chilling stories that really occurred in the Old Jail. This is not a made-up haunted house; the Old Jail is home to REAL spirits. Tours begin every 20 minutes. No advance tickets.
Mauch Chunk Opera House
The historic Mauch Chunk Opera House is one of America's oldest vaudeville theaters, in operation after more than 138 years. Today, the Mauch Chunk Opera House seats approximately 380, and is one of the northeast's premiere listening spaces and most intimate concert venues.
